I was asked if I could make the gages from brass so
this was the first concept I came up with. In the end we figured that it
may not be wise to actually make and use these as they could technically
still be considered brass knuckles…. Even if at 0.090” thick they would probably
cut your fingers off if you actually used that in that manner.
Best to not take a chance!

Here is the model of the lobster logo that I engraved n the surface of the gage. In the end I removed the
claws as the CA Spiny lobster doesn’t have claws!

Just
for fun I went ahead and machined a couple of the brass knuckle variety.
I did make the fingers considerably smaller than the original design as
this will prevent some from being able to insert their fingers all the
way through.
