 After searching around and getting
quotes for the past few years we decided on using closet cabinets by
solidwood closets which is an online company with a small store front at
their warehouse in Glendale CA http://www.solidwoodclosets.com/

from their web site of one of the cabinet displays in their showroom.
We ordered the cabinets and
picked them up at the warehouse a few days later. There was a missing
handle from one of the cabinet doors and I had broken a few of the
fasteners getting replacements was a piece of cake! They were very
helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process answering questions
and giving advice.

Assembly was straight forward but a little time
consuming sa I was taking my time and being extra cautious to not scratch
the finish.
Marlene wanted a mirrored door on shelf module in the
middle of the main wall. This was not an option from Solid Wood Closets.

After searching around for a
few days I found a local cabinet door mfg. that was able to build a
matching door. They did a marvelous job matching the design and the
stain, can’t tell its not from the same factory!

I hadn’t requested
it but they even made a wood panel to cover up the back side of the
mirror, a very nice finishing touch!

This is a long hanging section
but we have an old drawer cabinet parked there for now. When we get some
formal wear to hang there the cabinet will need to find a new home….LOL
|

Most of
the closet ceiling height is 99 inches but there is a section that is 10 foot
7 inches tall. I took advantage of this and installed some extra shelving
for long term storage items that we don’t need often.
