This is the equipment rack
with 3 iNuke amps installed. As you can see the orange light emanating from
the gain controls is annoying. In a darkened theater room environment,
this light is super distracting to say the least.

I Designed the aluminum hat with 0.030 wall thickness that inserts into
the recess behind the iNuke gain control knobs and is held in place by
the knob itself. Having the hat section sitting in the light well and the
flange (hat prim) effectively shuts off all the light emanating from
behind the knob. These parts were machined on the CNC mill but are better
suited to be made on a lathe.

In this photo you can see a 3d
printed knob with the light shield built into the knob. On amp #2 you can see the hat with
factory knob.

Here you can see 6 hats
installed on all 3 amps for a nearly factory look.

Here is a shot of the current
theater setup that these amps are installed in. There is a total of 4 18: subs
and one 21” sub located behind the theater seats.

Just in case those
measurements didn’t compute, you can see how big they are in this photo!
