I have 3 of these TB351 toilets and have had problems with all of them leaking water past the flush valve.

After investigation, I found that gaskets between the flush valve and tank was damaged by what appears to be improper assembly and this is what was causing the leak.

After wards, I found that the water was still leaking but now was stopping at the level of the flush valve piston.

Inspection of this gasket shows what appears to be blisters in the surface of the gasket material.

These blisters correlate with the position of the sealing surface on the valve assembly.

I made some 3D printed templates (the white donuts) to use to cut some new gaskets from some silicone sheeting (the red donuts)

This is the new  slightly larger OD gasket that was cut using the  template and installed on the  flush valve.

This new gasket  only lost  about 1 inch of water out of the tank in a 7 hour period. A significant improvement over the original  which  had the tank refilling about 1 an hour due to the excessive leaking.

This is the second flush valve. Difficult to see in this photo, but this gasket has even more “Blisters”

Here you can get a sense of how tall these blisters are. I have a straight edge across the tops of the blisters and you can see the gap below the blisters where I believe the water is leaking from.

I decided to section the gasket so I could see what was going on inside the material.

In this photo you can see the water that came out of the blisters. I could not see any cracks or holes in the material where the water could infiltrate the material. Maybe it’s some sort of hydroscopic material that absorbs water. Not ideal for a gasket submerged in water its whole life!
